Our Web Desing Process
Phase 1: Inform
During this first step, we will try to make a general image, both on the current situation and especially on your aims and expectations. We'll ask you to fill out our design questionnaire so we can have documentation of what you are looking for.
Phase 2: Initial Project Meeting/Discussion
During this phase, we'll organize all the information related to the project in a document called "The Statement of Work", which the client must give the final approval on. This document should be used as a final, detailed specification for the work to be performed by us. Once we have agreed to work together, we have to complete this document to ensure that both parties understand the scope and outcome of the project. It should include a detailed description of the work to be performed, deliverables, deadlines and milestones. Additionally, a Non-Disclosure Agreement can be signed at the request of the client or ours.
Phase 3: First drafts
We'll start working on the basic concept drafts (proposals as for the look & design) and usually we'll have the first results in about 5-7 working days; 4 revisions are included, for more than 4 we work on a per hour basis; when we have a winner we start the implementation/work on the deliverables.
Phase 4: Build
We start the effective building of the product, basing on the settled specifications and the design approved by the client. We'll send periodical reports about the project status, according to the initial agreement. Before delivering the product, there is a period of testing, when it is verified if the project objectives are fulfilled.
Phase 5: Final delivery
The completed work is delivered and final contractual obligations are due.
Phase 6: Post-Project Assistance
We request feedback from past clients to ensure that they're happy with the results of the project and to encourage repeat business.
However, throughout the entire project, client involvement is a vital component. The main reason is we work and build with the client, not by ourselves, and the final product is the result of a team work; namely both us and the client, working collaboratively, side by side.
